Overview
Satisfy is a Paris-born running brand rooted in punk, skate, and counterculture, making premium technical gear for runners of every level. Despite a loyal following, the brand lacked a clearly defined design target, someone who could anchor every product decision, campaign, and collaboration.
What drew me to this project was the chance to give a brand with real cultural texture a sharper sense of who it's actually for. I'm drawn to this kind of work because the clearer a brand is about its person, the more confident and specific everything downstream becomes.

Satisfy had the attitude and the following, but not the anchor. Without a clearly defined person behind every decision, the brand risked diluting its edge as it grew. The opportunity was to find and name that person, someone specific enough to guide product, campaigns, and collaborations with precision.

Design Research
I conducted interviews to gather athletic opinions and narrow down the audiences. Dug into cultural research across three threads: pain cave culture, streetwear's crossover into running, and the psychology of the extremist athlete.
From that research, I identified and named Satisfy's design target: the Pavement Punk.
Developing the Visual Concept
To bring the Pavement Punk to life, I developed moodboards and persona profiles that grounded the five personality cues, suffer, raw, devoted, Uunderground, earned, in something tangible the brand could design against. From there, I mocked up campaign visuals, explored potential collaborations, and sketched out event spacing concepts, translating the strategy into real touchpoints. Copywriting ran throughout each of these deliverables, making sure the Pavement Punk's voice stayed consistent from persona to campaign to collaboration.

Once the Pavement Punk was named, I built a full brand framework around them as Satisfy's north star. This included:
A repositioned brand purpose
A personality system
Audience mapping
Potential campaign concepts
Copywriting across key touchpoints
This project taught me how much clarity a single, well-defined person can bring to a brand. When you know exactly who you're designing for, every decision gets easier and every word gets sharper.
